how to start a Cheer leading-squad?

my university do not have a cheer-leading squad, i was thinking of starting one. i do not know how to go about this. if anyone know how to start, please help me.

first you need a sponser, so someone of authority you know who would support the idea of having this team. Then, you need to create a form involving your desire to start a team and have your sponser sign it and go to the president or vice president of your college. Then, you need to make it known that there is an available cheerleading squad looking for people. have tryouts. create an event on facebook. once you do this, all you need is to choose people who want to cheer.
