how to disable facebook timeline?

so I was sitting next to a friend who was using facebook, she went to log out, and below the logout button was an option that said 'disable timeline', she flipped out and immediately disabled it. However, when I went on, there was no 'disable timeline' button. ???
I just watched her do this like 20 minutes ago!! I even saw her page not on timeline!

there is no way to remove it - everyone is being converted to the timeline - it's the new look for facebook, not an optional update - they are now forcibly converting everyone slowly without your consent
