How to hide facebook friends appearing on friend suggestions for others?

Hi,
I have a girlfriend who I am very serious about however I am 15 and my mum doesn't approve and told me to delete her on facebook instantly. I come from strong religious beliefs as a family even though I don't follow them. I have hidden my friends list on my facebook profile as my mum has facebook and can check my friends however I am now scared that she may appear to my friend as a friend suggestion showing 1 mutual friend (me). Is there anyway to prevent this? Thank you for your help, I would be very grateful for any.

You cant do anymore than what u already did... But i think that putting ur friends private won't suggest them to ur other friends...

I think facebook will not suggest if you hide ur friend list from your mom
