Why doesn't facebook give me all my notifications?

It never notifies me when people comment on my wall posts or statuses. I went to my settings and all the notification boxes are checked, and they show up in my emails. Just not on facebook. How do I fix this?

Becuase facebook hates you. Im sorry you had to find out this way. but you knew it was comming

Did you disallow certain notifications? Check your Notifications settings. You might edit them before.
