the catholic church is not the true church

to be saved you must

Romans 10:9

Good News Translation (GNT)

9 If you confess that Jesus is Lord and believe that God raised him from death, you will be saved.

John 3:16

Good News Translation (GNT)

16 For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not die but have eternal life.

Salvation comes when you recognize your sinfulness. Make a conscious decision to turn from your sins (Repent) and by faith trust Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Membership in a church can't save you, but once you are saved you should become a member of a bible believing church and be baptized by imersion, not in order to be saved but because you have been saved. Keep in mind when looking for a church that the bible says, There is one mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus. No pope, priest or Mary as a mediator. Also the bible says that it is appointed unto man once to die and after that the judgment. No purgatory. Hope you find this useful. It worked for me. God bless

Call a Catholic church and enroll in the adult instruction class (RCIA). You will receive your Sacraments, become Catholic, and learn to practice your faith.

Hello,

The Catholic church is not the only Christian denomination which condemns this Eternal Security, aka, Once Saved Always Saved. The vast majority of Christian ones do as well. We'll only know whether we made it or not once we cross over and face our judgement.

Cheers,

Michael Kelly

Yes you they will be welcoming.
look up all the Facebook Catholic pages to help you get some catholic friends. college campuses always have catholic clubs in them too.

join a young adult group and attend Catholic events.

Go to RCIA at your local perish and receive the sacraments.

Finally let me know if I can help get you started or in any other ways.

I do not know if you are saved or not. That is between you and God.

Bit if you are interested in joining or just learning more about the Catholic Church, contact your local parish and ask for information about their RCIA Inquiry group. You can go and ask any questions you want.

This is the first step in RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) but you can stop at any time. There is no obligation to become a Catholic.

Some resources: http://www.archdiocese.la/evangelization/rcia/index.php

With love and prayers in Christ.

Masstimes.org is a nice place to start. Visit a Catholic Church to get started. We would love to see you there.
