Question About New Facebook Application?

Greetings,

I have a question about a new Facebook application that they have rolled out. When I logged into my account there was some application that would allow you to see who has visited your page. You could choose to opt out of this application by clicking "no thanks." I did this.

My question is if I have my privacy settings set where only me or my friends can see my page, does this application block other people from knowing I might be visiting their profile to see if they are on Facebook or not?

The applications that say that they can track who has visited your profile is a bunch of bogus. They do not work and all it does is make the person who put that application up, richer because of the advertisements that you have to go through or whatnot. It other words, Don't do it. They don't work anyway.
