Yahoo is sharing my info WITHOUT my permission- and sends me an Email to BRAG about it to me!?
----- The email is from:
account-services-us@cc.yahoo-inc.com
-------and it says:
<<< SUCCESS ! You agreed to share your Yahoo information with Google. If you did not agree to share your information, stop sharing.
https://api.login.yahoo.com/WSLogin/V1/unlink?.intl=us
Regards,
Yahoo Account Services >>>
---------------- WTF ???-----------------
Ok, so when I try to reply - to tell them that they did NOT have my permission to share my info - the only address that it will enter is:
the ol' "NO-REPLY @ Yahoo, blah blah" so it's obvious they won't let me complain to them that their bogus address (above) which they put in the email didn't say ANYTHING about how to get them to stop sharing my info with GOOGLE- or anyone else.....
I am furious and feel so violated with this latest manipulative trick. How can they sink so low- and not allow me to address this issue to them? Does anyone know how to bypass that "no-reply" return address - or if there is a list of real YAHOO DEPARTMENTS to address problems to? and.... does anyone know HOW/WHY Yahoo is sharing personal info without asking or getting permission to do so ? .... (Maybe it's a fake email, not from Yahoo?)

and they say:
"You agreed to share your Yahoo information with Google.
If you did not agree to share your information, stop sharing. https://api.login.yahoo.com/WSLogin/V1/unlink?.intl=us

Regards,
Yahoo Account Services

Hi ParrotMommie,

Yahoo only shares information with Google when you, or somebody accessing your account, explicitly authorizes the sharing.

You can remove the connections by following these help articles:

How do I manage external application and website connections?
http://help.yahoo.com/kb/index?page=cont...=PROD_ACCT

Disconnect Facebook/Google account from Yahoo
http://help.yahoo.com/kb/index?page=cont...=PROD_ACCT

If you did not make this change initially, I highly advise changing your password and re-securing your account:

Securing a hacked Yahoo account

Hope that helps!
