Facebook Friend Requests Problem?
Has anyone ever had this happen? I send out a Facebook friend request and the recipient receives an email notification, but when they are redirected to their Facebook account, there are no notifications. They also apparently are unable to find me on Facebook, even after giving them a direct link to my profile. However, their updates, at least about who they recently added as friends still show up in my news feed. Their profiles remain as pending requests. I have 3 of them now. What’s going on? I can still add others and clearly they continue to accept requests.
My privacy settings were already set to visible to everyone in searches.

it never happened to me but i think i know the problem. ill try to help.

if they dont have notifications when they click on the link in the email, its probably your privacy settings that done something to block the notifications.

they can't find you because you disabled the ability for people to find you using search engines, including facebook's search engine. click on account>privacy>basic directory information. then adjust the "search for me on facebook" link to "everyone" so your friends youre trying to add can find you and add you themselves.

if it shows that the people that added a person and it shows up on your feed, it means that they added someone and that someone accepted their friend request and thats why it shows up on your feed. its not that your friends are ignoring your requests.

i think i answered your questions but if i reread your question wrong, i apologize. try seeing if what i gave you would help you out. good luck
