Instagram help??????

I've had my instagram for a while, but i keep getting notifications on it saying, "Your facebook friend has joined instagram, go follow them at @soandso or something. How do I get that to send to my friends? Is it in settings or..? PLEASE HELP!!

Are you asking how to follow the person or how to notify your Facebook friends that you're on instagram?

Follow- Click on the person's username and click the blue button that says "follow"
To notify your friends- If you have your instagram synced to your facebook, it should have notified your facebook friends that also have an instagram. I don't think it sends that notification to those who are now joining instagram. I'm pretty sure it only sends to those who have had an instagram account longer than you have. You may want to check your settings, but I don't think there is anything you can do about that.
