What's a program that can bypass any block sites at my school?

This kid today came up to my friends computer, put in his USB opened a program and then my friends was able to access twitter, Facebook, etc. normally these sites don't work but after that program was open it work just fine. Does anyone know this program, I would be really nice, especially having access to sites that have information for research projects that my school has denied access to. I do know about the command prompt bypass by typing in ping http://www.facebook.com (for example).

Yeah, sure you do, kid. Anyway, what you are looking for is called a proxy and if you do a google search you'll figure it out.

He used a proxy. I use http://surfthewebnow.com/ it always works for me! It unblocks all the website like twitter or facebook. try it!
