Whats a good minor to go with a major in psychology?
I'm taking psychology this semester in highschool. And I really like it I kind of knew I would like it before but now I know that I love it not just like it. It's fascinating. Well first i'd like to know what kind of jobs could i get with a major in psychology and is there different types of like psychologists, and therapists, etc... how big of a degree do i need for the different jobs i could get in psychology? and what would be something good to minor in?

unless you plan to be a psychologist or psychiatrist focus on a social work degree. you will get plenty of psych classes to go along with that, plus you will have way more job options in the field. you can work in the human resources dept of a business, work for the DHS, or with disturbed kids. there is a shortage of psychiatrists it seems, if you are willing to go to school for 8 yrs and your pay will be huge. take if from someone who make the mistake and got a BA in psych but found out the job market wanted social work degrees instead. I didn't go 4 yrs. to college for a minimum wage job. found out I could make more money at a factory! bummer!
