Can't get Facebook app................why?

I bought the Virgin Mobile LG Optimus V in May and I downloaded the Facebook app the day after I got it. It worked great for about a month. Then, all of a sudden, the 3g stopped working in my phone for about 3 days. So, I read somewhere that it could have stopped because I downloaded a bad app. So I deleted all the apps I had downloaded. including Facebook. The 3g started working again after I turned it off and on about 5 times and turned my phone off and on about 10 times. So I searched for Facebook in the market to download it again and it's not there anymore. I've been looking for it every few days for about a month and it's still not there. I went on my computer to the android market there to download it and it tells me it's compatible with my phone, but when it says it's downloaded nothing ever shows up on my phone. Where did Facebook go? Why is my stupid phone not finding it?

Maybe an issue with your wireless connectivity, check it to make sure that it is working up to par and wait awhile before seeing if your phone has updated.
