Toshiba Laptop Satellite no boot image problem.How to fix this?
My laptop got banged and got a little damaged.
Here's the problem..
My laptop gives a error message saying that there is no bootable device

What that means most likely is that the laptop is not seeing the hard drive.

If you are comfortable with it you will want to take out the screws on the bottom of the laptop where the hard drive is. In a perfect world you will hopefully just caused the wire that attaches to the hard drive to come loose. Simply resecure it back onto the hard drive and try booting again.

In a worst case scenario you might have caused some damage to the hard drive and you will be looking at the cost of the hard drive and possibly the cost of paying Toshiba to send you restore software for your computer if you did not create it or get any with the laptop.

Your hard drive is damaged and cannot load Windows. Best have it fixed by a laptop technician. At best, cables may have come loose. At worst, you need to replace the hard drive.
