In my opinion, I think it should take time before you get visits to your forum. You can try to put the name of your forum on different social networking websites.

The best and easy way. Find the similar forum as you have made. Go there leave positive comments and do not forget to leave your forum link. If you talk nice people will visit your forum too. Other than this, introduce yourself on Facebook, twitter etc.
