How to practice a second language?
I live in America and I've recently been picking up French again. But I'm finding it very difficult to learn since very few people speak French around my parts (only a couple of my Haitian friends). Do you have any suggestions as to what/where to practice (or suggested readings for beginners), and how I can continue to learn when I'm essentially learning alone?

Thanks in advance!
-Matt

Hi, Matt

Create a daily habit, no matter how little time you spend.

Here is a youtube channel with 1-minute daily videos that you can practice with:
http://bit.ly/frenchyoutube

Also, here's a 23k-fan Facebook page with people just like you:

Hope this helps!

Read books or newspapers with the help of a dictionary

Watch movies/TV with good subtitles in your native language

Listen to french-spoken radio

and there's probably lessons on youtube
