how do i completely get rid of my page on facebook. i want it completely gone?

i created a page linked with my facebook account and i dont want to delete the facebook account. just the page i created

Log on to your account.
2) Click the White arrow to the right of the home button, located on the top right of the Facebook page.
3)Click Account Settings
4) A New page should Pop Up. On the new page under the facebook Logo you will see a list of actions that say - General
Security
Notifications
Subscribers . . .
Click the one that says Security.
5) You should see a heading that says Security Settings then their will be a list of actions under that heading. All the way under Active sessions (the last action under the heading under Security Settings) you will see light blue words that say "Deactivate your account"
6) Click deactivate account
7)Choose a reason for leaving
8)then click confirm and then verify your password
9) Type those wierd looking letters so they can make sure you are not a robot and your done.
