my ex best friend only cares about popularity?

I had this best friend in college and now we don't talk at all.she befriended me after trying to be friends with a bunch of girls she didnt click with.then she came to me and became my friend because I was the only one nice enough to Be. As soon as college was done she told me she didnt have enough time for me as she was going to graduate school. She made new friends and told me she thought those friends were more important.

I felt useless because I had all the friends in college and she didnt. I could have spent time with other people who weren't faking who they were to fit in and genuinely liked me. I see all her pictures on facebook now. She hangs out with all these girls who wear designer clothes and spend 100s of their parents money. She acts like she's better than me now..after I helped her when no one wanted tobe her friend.

It sucks because im working a job trying to make a career for myself and I lost my so called best friend.

Okay,your former friend used you and then discarded you when you were no longer useful. She is a shallow,selfish person and in the end that will come back to haunt her.

At least you know now what kind of person she is. Make new friends and leave her to her karma,whatever it is. Like it or not there are people such as her in the world,there always will be,but there are more people who are not so small. So discard her as she has discarded you. She is not important.
