Why did she even do this?

She starts a conversation on Facebook, says hey its been a while etc. I respond, yeah it has how you been? Then.. no response in days, but she posts status and share posts. shortly after.. I mean what's the point in starting a conversation if you don't plan on following up?

I hate it when people do this. I guess they just can't be a*sed to reply maybe?

Maybe she was bored? Maybe her FB chat ate the reply you sent? You can continue a conversation with her. If she doesn't want to talk to you, she will either continue to ignore replies or she will tell you not to contact her(or delete/block you).
