some questions regarding a php script and web hosting features...please help?

All right i haev my own small website for which i was looking to do some marketing adn hence i caught hold of a auto tweeting script which needed cron jobs [which im not sure if my web host has pre installed it or any other case as i do not see any option to set a cron job] ..........so i set haev set up cron job from free cron job services online


Now where im getting confused is with the auto tweet php script .......when i open the scrip to do the settings, the tweets to tweet, the accounts in which it will auto tweet and so on i came to know the script i have can auto tweet in only half hour [so does this prove my web host has cron jobs preinstalled .......i dont even know whether cron jobs work that way or not......since im a complete newbie to cron jobs]


OR

Now that i haev set up a cron job from those free services online in which i had set up to auto tweet several times of the day and selected all 24 hours .............which one will work



Im actually looking to set up 10 twitter ac to auto tweet some messages [ofcourse within twitter limits].........what am i exactly supposed to do,, can anyone please help me.


Since im very newbie to cron job and these php scrips [I didnt even know that i had to load the auto tweet.php file directly from my cpanel ..........i was trying to edit it directly to load the messages and make other settings] so as a result im not even sure as to which possibilities of questions i should be asking with regards to this
