Lycan i got the same problem im 62yr male & met a boyfriend on facebook over two years ago, we are both very much in love, his turkish muslim and we have to constantly hide from his cousins who live in the Uk, yet joke is, we moved in together in london six months ago in our own little flat & only one mile away from my mans aunty!.
My boyfriend flirts with me when we go shopping openly letting others see we are a item loving each other, we did talk about getting married until one year in our relationship, then a muslim friend apparently said he would tell his family if we marry, so at the moment its a no go.
Truth is we just get on with our lives but dont admit we are gay partners to our non-conservative muslim landlord, although he knows we sleep in one double bed together, as in your situation 'our love rules & can survive all situations'.
Help your girlfriend face her position in supporting her faith in Islam, talk about her beliefs, find a way to get around things, there is always a way out of tricky situations, your girlfriend is obviously worth fighting for, be strong in mind and love. I wish you lots of years together united.
