What is the meaning of Amp in twitter...?

Some people in twitter use this term like "going with my family & amp.......". what does the word amp stands for...?,I'm asking this question third time and no one could answer yet.

i dont know the answer but i have noticed that its not only amp its "amp;" and i have noticed that it always comes after "&"
so its an error,, no user writes it, its just a technical error

if u want to understand it better do one thing
comment on your question or anyone else's question and anywhere in ur comment u write "& amp;" (without inverted commas and space) and post ur comment u will under stand everything.
