have you ever made a fake facebook account?

i was watching the movie catfish, and it got me me really thinking. you reallly never know who you are talking to or if they are even real people?
i only add people i know on facebook. but i can imagine that there are plenty of fake facebook accounts. why i don't know? how do you feel about this situation, have you ever watched catfish?
catfish is about this guy who befriends some person on facebook and also the whole family to this one person, who is actually just 1 woman with multiple facebook accounts posing as different people.

i did make so many fake fb accounts just to prank my friend. and i read somewhere that 70% of the facebook accounts are fake.. so yeah i think u should only add people u know

I haven't but people do make fake ones. There was a crime case a couple of years ago in florida - a baby disappeared (found, thankfully.) The woman who took the baby had all kinds of facebook accounts and she used to talk to herself using them. Weird stuff.
