Is there a social networking site for people like me who can't possibly express myself in so few words?

i.e. on Twitter! It annoys me so much how you can only write so many words. How can you possibly say want you want to say in so few words?!

Is there another social networking site that doesn't have this word limit (and besides Facebook - cant stand it!).

Shakespeare once wrote (in Hamlet, I think it was) that "Brevity is the soul of wit." Obviously, he placed a great deal of importance on writing just the right amount. For some like you (and I, a professional writer by trade,) the character or word limits are frustrating. But I kind of like challenging myself to squeeze a thought down into that space sometimes, which helps me when I have to write a public relations piece, where brevity is often requested or required by the customer.

For longer thoughts, musings, ramblings, etc., I resort to blogs. Xanga.com is still out there, and still a good blogging site if you want a free one. My blog is privatized, but much like Facebook and Twitter, you can set it up however you like-- only friends, general public, or only certain posts can be searched out by the public, etc.

Google has one called "Buzz"
I am not sure if they have a limit though.

Get over it. If you want to write alot then join Facebook and if you don't like facebook then tough. People probably don't care what you have to say anyway. Not being personal, I mean people in general.

you need to be more succinct. learn more vocabulary and say more with fewer words. Soon a 140 character limit won't matter.
