Is there a way to make your twitter account private (like on instagram)?
I just got a twitter and i want to make it private. Is there a way to make it like instagram so people have to request to follow me? Thanks(:

Sure.
When on Twitter, click the gear in the upper right of the screen, and select Settings in the pull down menu. In there, you will find the Tweet Privacy option. Check that to protect your tweets, and only your allowed followers will be able to read your tweets.
