Can friends find me online?

I'm planning on de-activating my current account. I only have my profile photo and name available for the public to see if they do like a google search.

There are friends on my list who I don't want searching for me or even finding out that I have a new account. Is there a way to have an account but not have friends finding out that I have a new one? I don't want some of them doing a google search or even a search within the Facebook search engine and finding that I have an account.

Well, you can block them, before they see it. So one you make your new account. Right away block them so they won't be able to find or see that you have a new account.
