Could anyone please give me some social advice?

I'm finding life very hard at the moment. I think I am pushing everyone away with my social infirmities. I don't really know what else to do and I feel maybe a penpal would help me a lot. I am self destructive, I have control issues and I the only person I have to ask for advice is my older sister and she is quite a frivolous, mundane human being with very conventional, conditioned ideology so I just get frustrated with her superficiality.
