Unfortunately there is no way to switch back to the old design after you upgrade to the new Facebook profile. As Facebook is implementing this change gradually, sooner or later all the users will have the new profile, and there is no way back from it.

Did some searching and I found out how to get it back: I just deactivated my account and put that "I'll be back later" and signed back in reactivating my account and everything was back to normal. Some people said they had to do it twice for it to work.

me too hate the new profile..the only way to get it back is to deactivate your Facebook and then sign in again. You will get back the old profile
