iPhone 5s Apps not downloading!?

It's so weird! I download an app from the app store
and when I go to it on the app store it says "open"
So I click it.. and nothing happens!?!?

I cannot see it anywhere on my phone! it's like it's invisible..
I even search my phone for the name of the App
and it's not there

For example: I accidentally uninstalled instagram
so I go to downloads and it says it updated and installed..
yet it's not there anywhere on my phone?

Maybe it's because I don't have enough room? I'm not sure

I don't have iCloud either

I'm just so confused that these apps all say they're downloaded and they are not :/

How do I fix this? I even updated my phone and deleted a bunch of pictures and apps to see if I maybe didn't have space

I'm so frustrated!

OH YEAH! It also does it with ringtones and music :/

Hold the lock button and the home button at the same time for about 10 seconds until you see the apple logo. Then Release it let the iphone restart. Check if the apps are there. That should do it.
