my mac got hacked by my brother?
hello, i have a macbook since about 1 year now and about 5 months ago i got mac OS X Snow Leopard and i asked my brother (who is a genius with computers) to install it for me and before that he had installed Msn, Microsoft and windows for me .
just recently he has been able to control not only my itunes but my whole computer which is starting to scare me
wheever i turn it off and on again a new account is created called Guests account and it changes my settings to screen sharing.
so every time i turn my mac on, i have to change everything .
i also have an iPhone 3g 8Gb and he seems to have control over it too .
he also has hacked into all my accounts such as twitter, youtube, Facebook and hotmail .
if anyone can help me please do , i would love to have my privacy back !!

Learn how to install it. Reinstall. Change all of your account passwords. Keep your brother away from it.

Click the little apple on the top left hand corner and click "System Preferences" then click "Accounts". Your account (in the left hand list) should say "Admin" under your name. The only other account that should be there is a "Guest Account" and is should say "Standard" or "Sharing Only" under the account name. If there is any other account or the "Sharing" account is an "Admin" user, delete the accounts to stop anyone but you from controlling the computer. While your here, you also might want to change your account password.

After that, go back to "System Preferences" and click "Sharing" and make sure NONE of the boxes are checked. This way, all remote desktop and controlling stops.

That should do it. There is one more super user account (not accessible by normal people in system preferences) your brother may have opened, but that one is tricky to get rid of, e-mail me if it does not stop - there are more tricks you can do to get it to stop if it does not.

i think your brother might have installed some keyloggers which would record every keystrokes and sent to him.so he will get your password for every account.

first of all format your pc and install xp or any other for xp installation

Back up all important information before you perform a clean installation of Windows XP. Save the backup to an external location, such as a CD or external hard disk.
Start your computer from the Windows XP CD. To do this, insert the Windows XP CD into your CD drive or DVD drive, and then restart your computer.

Note To boot from your Windows XP CD, the BIOS settings on your computer must be configured to do this.
When you see the "Press any key to boot from CD" message, press any key to start the computer from the Windows XP CD.
At the Welcome to Setup screen, press ENTER to start Windows XP Setup.
Read the Microsoft Software License Terms, and then press F8.
Follow the instructions on the screen to select and format a partition where you want to install Windows XP.
Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the Windows XP Setup.

done now log in to your accounts which he hacked and change passwords security questions e.t.c

MacDude gave you great info. Also check in your security control to make sure your firewall is engaged. Also check in the spotlight in the upper right corner, look for "remote access" and make sure it is not enabled. Then change all your passwords. It is normal with Snow Leopard to have a guests account.
