How to hide newsfeed on facebook from friends?

Before they kept changing the facebook settings and stuff you were able to hide newfeed on your wall if you wanted to by going to privacy setting and there would be a news feed options. Now there is not. I didn't know if someone could help me out. I want to hide my newsfeed( when I post on friends walls, add friends, become a fan of something ect.) Facebook is supposed to have made better privacy setting but not everyone can see what you are doing and that is not private and have a problem with that. Can someone help me? Thanks

â–  The second option is "Personal Info"........You have to set this to "only me"........So click on the box right to this.....Select "customize".....A new box will appear......Select "only me" from the drop down list.......Then your friends won't see what you are doing ( like writing on someone's wall, liked a status etc. )
