when I access a page of an organization which I have to login to see and so I do... and someone told me this.

"No. I have been on Facebook for months. And I'm pretty sure it doesn't. I just shows you were added but doesn't say your name. It makes you sign-in in-case you violate rights or say something illegal..etc..."

what do they mean byit jsut shows you were added but does not show your name.

will they know my email? like of the person who acessed the page.

Thanks.

No people wont be able to see your email unless you say its okay... facebook has many privacy options that allow you to show people what you want and what you dont want them too see. its a pretty safe site

The answer fully depends upon your privacy settings. If you've granted everybody access to your email address, phone number, etc., then an organization's page will have that information. If you haven't, then they won't.

I have my own pages on Facebook. While I cannot always get email addresses (in the case where its not publicly available) I can often view a Facebook user's profile and get a lot of information about them, and who they know, etc.

do you mean by organazion like company, or game, or organization like UNICEF. If it's on a page, then no, if its a game, survey, ad, etc, Facebook does not generally function searches or games or anything like that unless, your logged, if you see something like "we will email you" and "give information" which they'll do alot for games and quizzes. dont panic if you click agree, just be careful and enjoy facebook
