Where does Facebook/myspace/ Twitter derive their profit from? Is it only through ad revenue?

How and where do they get the cash to maintain the site?

Since those kinds of pagehits generate a SHITTON of money from ads.

Facebook/myspace/ Twitter they have ads placed on their sites, so every time someone click on a ad Facebook/myspace/ Twitter receive 0.5 ....1$.... n$
