How do you see "friendship" on Facebook?

Between a person (who I'm not friends with) and one of my friends? Is there a way?

As long as the non-friend has not blocked you, they will show up in your friend's friend list. There used to be a "see friendship" button but that has been gone for a while. Privacy has changed a bit. I think the best you can do is look at your friend's page and search for the non-friend's name to find their posts and comments. Sorry if this was not much help.
