Is it good to use at all?

What are some downfalls of it? What's good about it (comparing to the older version?)

I changed my old layout to timeline in like January just because I was curious why everyone was complaining. Well, I hate it and still haven't gotten used to it

I had it for a short time a few months ago....I don't like it so I use a google extension and removed it..it also lets me see everyone else's page in the old style too.
