Problem in Facebook account.?

I am not a Facebook maniac and I never opened any unknown links. Even though, for a few days, some advertisements are being displayed in my account (and anyone's account if accessed from my pc only). These advt even contains obscene contents. These are being displayed at the bottom space next to the apps, groups at the left side. Sometime in the middle of the screen peculiar messages come, eg.''CLICK HERE TO SOLVE PC ERRORS.'' I was so frightened that I've deactivated my account.
Now my questions are: What has happened actually? And is there any solution?

You probably have an adware in your computer.
As to how you got it, we do not know unless you provide more information.

For now, do a full scan of your computer using your Anti-Virus (supposing you have any). If nothing comes up, try booting into safe mode and login to Facebook, see if the advertisements still pops out. If it does, then probably it has something to do with your browser. Try changing browsers, or at least clear all cookies and cache.

If all else fail, a full format would be suggested, but that's the last thing you should do though.
