I am in the market for a new camera, what is a good one?

I want one that look pretty stylish it doesn't have to be super professional just not a vivitar Ive had some bad experiences.
Water proof
stylish
good Megapixles
cool effects
easy upload to facebook preferably thought the camera
needs to connect to mac book
easy to bring with me
touch screen would be nice
and um anything that's teenager ish thanks a bunch!!

All cameras sold today have more than enough megapixels, so don't even waste time looking at that at all. 3 megapixels is fine for making a large 8 x 10 print, and all cameras are WAY more than that today.

Just get any Canon digital camera that is in your price range, and it will be better than any other brand in that same price range.

For easy uploads and connectivity to Mac's use a card reader! (About $6-to-$10) Camera -to- computer cords are nothing but grief!

I would say that the best camera that fits your needs (specifically waterproof) would be the olympus tough serries. these cameras are fantastic. Great mega pixel density great quality images, shock proof, waterproof and they also have great movie modes with hd video recording. look at the ilnk below for the olympus tough camera website. you can look to see if they have one in your price range.
