Can a restaurant owner harass and threaten to press charges for a fake bill?
I went to dinner with a group of friends. We ordered drinks, mostly waters and two sodas. We waited 50 minutes for the waitress to come back and take our order. Once taking our order, she said shed come back for drink refills. She never did. Several of us tried to go to the bar to ask for drink refills but the waitress was texting/counting money. Another 30 min later, the waitress comes up and says they're out of the steak/shrimp dinner that we all ordered. At that point, we were furious. We asked to speak to the manager. He was the owner and walked up to the table, asking what the problem was. We calmly explained. He was extremely rude, became confrontational, and said he had other customers that took precedence over us. Then he proceeded to tell us to "get the f**** out of his restaurant if we didn't like the service." Being absolutely appalled, we all walked out. Three days later, the owner found my number on Facebook and is threatening to press charges for a $160 check via text.

He is an A-hole with a business about to fail.

A-hole techniques are to blame everyone for their own failure.

This is all the person is trying to do.

I would just ignore him and he will go away when his business fails.

He did tell you to get out, so you got out. If you didn't order anything to replace the Steak / Shrimp plates, there is no implied consent to pay, since they did not have what you ordered. Technically, you owe for the sodas and you could offer him $20 to cover those.
But, if he had a case, he wouldn't be fooling around on Facebook. But, how did he find you there? Is there another part of this story?

How can you be billed for services you never received?
