Why are most girls vain? Do you care if someone you're in a relationship with is vain?

She has pictures of herself on her facebook. That's vanity. There were pictures that weren't taken for the scenery, so she's vain. It seems teens up to about mid 20s do this. She seems nice but I don't know, her, so I can't say if she's really nice but she clearly admires her looks.
I'm not talking about one picture of herself. The pics she takes isn't even about the scenery. It as if she's just taking to get compliments and has excessive admiration of her appearance.
Erica......look up the definition of vanity and vain.....posting random pics of yourself is vanity...there's a difference between confidence and being vain....the fact that she posts a number of random pics of herself shows she has excess admiration which is vanity

I hate when ppl do that, as if everyone doesn't know why ur taking selfies. If u wanted a pic for the scenery u wouldn't be in it blocking it. ANYWAY most guys r like that too. What was the question?

That is kind of a bad thing to say. Not all girls are vain. But like 99% of girls have been affected by the media and peerpressure to do this kind of stuff. So don't blame her, throw a brick at a billboard with a picture of a girl on it. Not literally, don't do that. She may just want someone to notice her, she might be putting attention on herself to find a guy, you're a guy, so go talk to her and you might find she's not all that vain.

I don't really understand your question? But just because she has pictures of herself on facebook does not mean that she is vain. It simply means that she is self confident. And that is a quality that most girls don't have. Most girls are very insecure and don't like how they look. But having self confidence is not being vain. Please don't tell this girl that she is vain, for goodness sake you don't even know her! And maybe you should not be so quick to judge people.
