How long will 1GB of Internet last on my Mobile phone?
I usually use social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter (THIS) a lot and I regularly surf on a normal basis (maybe 30-45 mins) and download documents from dropbox or from my email (attachments)

I don't stream videos (unless really needed to; maybe 1 or 2 videos)
I like to download new and popular apps too from the Android Market
I read emails

Any help would be much appreciated! Big Grin

well, it depends a lot from the mobile you have...different mobiles have different graphics, which brings to longer loading time, and also depends from whether you use your browser or an app to open all these websites..but i'd say it would take some time, assuming that basic apps (not games) from the market arent larger than 2 or 3 MB, and videos something between 1-6 MB. 1GB is a lot you know Wink

I just did some quick math using my collected data... I've had an iPhone for just shy of two years and have used 18.4 gigs total. So that's less than 1GB per month. Judging by my usage vs yours a gig should probably last you 2 months or so, so a 1GB/mo plan should work out fine for you.

Keep in mind the breakdown there 1 page of text = a kilobyte, 1000 kilobytes = 1 megabyte, 1000 megabytes = 1 GB.

Hopefully that helps!
