Why do I keep getting random Facebook notifications of people's status update?
Lately I've been receiving notifications from Facebook saying someone updated a status or added a new photo but I don't have those set in my notification settings. Why is this and how can I change it?

If your getting them to your phone is because u have the notifications enabled. To change it go to settings and disable or just remove your number and put and email.
