The mouse pad on my laptop just stopped working?
The mouse pad on my Lenovo ideapad just randomly stopped working and I didn't press anything by accident or anything like that and my laptop is barely a month old. When I plug in a wireless mouse though it works fine but when I plug it back out the mouse pad still won't work!

All help is greatly appreciated, thanks for your time! Smile

Hello Amazed,

Sometimes depending the model and maker of your laptop, there is a function key that disables/enables the touchpad. Usually its a function key and all you do is tap on the key and should enable the touchpad to work again. Sometimes there is a switch as well. It really all depends on the maker and model of your laptop. If anything you could take it to a local repair shop and have them take a look at it just to be sure its not a hardware defect.

Thank you for giving me the time to help!!
