The only thing i know is that your profile is deleted but you can re activate it like my friends do all the time,and everything is still the same

Even if you delete some stuff such as pictures, Facebook has some sort of copy of it saved somewhere. I'm not sure how long the history is held for though. And when a user deletes their account, Facebook still has the info. As for the last question, I've heard of people seeing their own images being used as advertisements such as IQ tests.
