Blackberry Facebook App error 503?

I recently downloaded the facebook app to my Blackberry Curve. It been fantastic and I absolutely love using it. However, The chat feature no longer works. I select chat and says 'Unable to connect to Facebook chat. Please try again later (503). If I select 'continue' and then 'go online' it will say 'Retrying' at the bottom of my screen and say the error message again.
Can anyone one tell me how I can fix this? It just so irritating because chat is one of the main things I do on facebook.

There are a couple of things you need to do to fix this problem. The first thing is to press the menu button while you are in the Facebook app and select "Options". In options you have to click on the "Clear Cache" button close to the bottom of the page. Then log out of your Facebook app by clicking on the "Logout" button at the top of the options page. Once you have logged out of Facebook you can reset your Blackberry by simultaneously pressing the Alt+Shift+Del on the keypad OR by pulling out the battery and putting it back in. Once the phone reloads login to Facebook and the chat application should be working just fine.
