How to sync my facebook contacts to my windows phone?

I just got a mobile prepaid nokia lumia 521 windows phone. i have always been an android user until now. i downloaded the facebook app and with androids it automatically prompts you to sync your contacts to your address book but it didnt on the windows phone. does anyone know how to do this? ive googled but not had any luck...

Go to Setting on the apps page > Swipe left/right > People > Scroll down and click "Add an account".

After this, Facebook contacts are add to your address book and to the Message app so you can chat with them (like Facebook Messenger).
