on facebook timeline is there a way to hide everything that you've posted in the past from someone?
i've already changed my privacy settings to custom so that the person wont see anything i post from now on, but is there a way that i can hide everything that i've posted in the past on timeline from them too? (WTHOUT DE-FRIENDING THE PERSON)

also on a completely diff note does anyone know if you can switch back to the old facebook after you've already had timeline? i hate it lol

thanks!
& what does being 19 have to do with anything? i've had facebook for about 5 years now. you are far more creepy knowing my age on yahoo answers than anyone i've encountered on facebook.

and savita i'm not going to take advice from any"buddy" who can't even spell simple words right. lol

any additional answers should actually ANSWER my question and not try and give me "advice".

every buddy says Facebook is a social site but its not safe for any one to use it or post any thing on it. if you want to hide posts from a particular person you have to unsubscribe him. this option didnt block him and its remove all there posts

There's a few ways to change the privacy settings of your past posts.

1) Add them to your "Restricted" friends list. They will still be your friends, but they will only see the same things on your page as someone who is not your friend will see. To do this, go to their page, click "Friends", click "Show all lists" if neccessary, then click "Restricted".

2) Change the privacy of all your past posts. Click the down arrow at the top-right of the Facebook page, then click "Privacy Settings" Then click "Limit the Audience for Past Posts". This will allow you to change the privacy for all your past posts. You can set it to what you have currently, blocking the one person from seeing your posts.

3) The hardest way is to individually change the privacy on each post. If you don't want to change all your past posts, or block everything from this one individual, this is the way to do it. On the top right of your wall, click "Activity Log". Then click the privacy symbol on every post that you want to change and change it. This could take a while.

Do #1 if you want to block everything. Fast and easy. You can restore their visibility if you remove them from that restricted list. Do #2 if you want something more permanent, and you don't already have other past post visibiltiy restrictions you don't want to overwrite. #3 should only be done if you don't want to overwrite some of your post privacy settings.

P.S. And no, you cannot swich back to the old Facebook. Pretty soon, everyone will have the new Timeline.

Yes, you change the visibility of all your old posts at once! So just put that custom list there also Wink

Here's a simple guide including the new facebook privacy settings: http://www.vectorash.ro/facebook-timeline-guide/
