After you follow someone on Twitter, their updates will appear in your feed. Everything they 'retweet' or directly post. Retweeting is basically reposting somebody's update.

You can retweet on Twitter, and post.

Whenever I post on Twitter, it's generally about how I don't really understand the purpose of Twitter, other than to give the most boring and monotonous updates of your life to people you don't know.
