honestly, i dont even look at how many friends people have. it doesn't matter to me. and im pretty sure my friends dont care either. i have a bout 400 friends but thats because i went to two schools and im friends with people from both. but don't worry about it. im pretty sure no one pays attention to how many friends other people have and then judge them on it. if they do that, then they have no life, lol.

don't worry about it, that's a good amount of friends, some of my friends have over a thousand. but they still hang with kids that only have like 100 or 200 friends. it doesn't make you a loser, the only thing that matter's is if you have friends in the real world.

ugh, it's so annoying how people try to get the most friends on facebook

it's not a competition. it's a way to connect with your FRIENDS. and that means your real friends.

i know a girl who got so sick of all the friend requests from random people in her middle school that she rejected all of them. she only has probably 50 friends on there but they're people she actually talks to and cares about

dude who cares

its an internet social networking, your supposed to talk to people on it, and you do so who cares. if your crush judges you based on how many facebook friends you have.... then hes not worth it

no you dont want to be a friend whore, would you talk to all of your friends on facebook face to face? if not then its not worth having them as a friend and your still in high school you dont need to have 300+ friends on line!

I think your'e more of a loser if you accept and request friends that you don't really know. I never accept people that i know to see for example and never even spoken too. Just keep your close circle of friends, do you even know these 150? If i see someone with over 200 friends i just think, what a Sad sad person..

Your not it depends how big your school is first off! second it doesn't matter how many friends you have its how youtreat them and simply hangin out and having that meaning to each other. I don't care how many people i have as long as i know them and have some type of friendship with them.

you need to ask yourself some serious questions. Are these people REALLY your friends? Because its not the number of friends you have but the quality of friends you have. You don't need a million people on facebook or myspace to prove what kind of person you are. In fact that means nothing other than that you may be insecure about yourself. Why would you worry about such a thing? and if anyone else judges you by the number of "friends" you have on facebook then they themself are a loser. With a capital L.

Doesn't matter. Half the people on fb friend people they barely know and it makes no sense. I think it is okay if you have friends from school who you don't really talk to but are in all of your classes, but random people is weird. I have seen people on fb with over 1,000 friends and I think its just creepy. Really who in the world has over 1,000 friends. I think 500 is pushing it, but depending on the person is it can be okay. There is a book called facebook etiquette, just so you know.

Short answer is 150 is normal.

People who have hundreds and hundreds of friends on facebook probably don't even personally know the majority of them and also probably don't keep in contact with the majority. Do you really have the free time to message and comment on 300 friends profiles every week? I only have like 40 friends, and I don't even talk to most of them on a regular basis. I'd rather have a few really close friends, than have a hundred acquaintances.

You are definitely not a loser for only having 150 friends.
