How many of you that complain about Patriot Act willingly vomit your privacy on social media?
Facebook, twitter, instagram etc etc
I have a facebook account that I let only my close friends/family see. Even with that, I have not logged on in 3 or 4 months I guess. It always boggled my mind how willing people are to put their entire lives out there on an what is essentially a billboard that the whole world can see. Just a thought Rape vs Information is a HORRID comparison Ads |

Yeah...I've thought of that, too.
I don't put anything on FB that I would mind the general public seeing. |

So do you also belief if a girl puts out for a different guy every week does that make it OK to rape her? Making a choice to do something ( even if it's a stupid choice ) is complete different than somebody forcing something on you.

No Facebook. Or anything else like it. I'm crazy, not stupid.
Those accounts can be hacked, and the things that are put on there, people assume it was you. |

Don't put anything on social web sites that you wouldn't mind sharing to the whole world.
That way, you're not giving away anything important. |

I don't fear retribution because I live a clean life. Still, I don't want the government to get too aggressive with monitoring for the purpose of stopping terrorism. It's a price to pay and with technology being as advanced as it is, it would be foolish not to take advantage of it. I suppose that with the recent scandals coming to light it has made a lot of us uncomfortable with this particular administration being able to monitor citizens. Their targeting of the right in the IRS controversy may have just been limited to the purpose of helping Obama be re-elected, but it sets a nasty tone as well. (BTW, it doesn't mean I approve of the IRS's illegal tactics.)
