Which IM clients allow you to send a message to Yahoo messenger.?

I need to use another IM service to contact a friend because for some reason she is not receiving messages from Yahoo messenger. She is not on facebook or any other IM service so i need to send a message to her using another IM service.


What IM client will allow me to send a message to yahoo messenger?

This sentence doesn't make sense to me: "She is not on Facebook or any other IM service so i need to send a message to her using another IM service." If she's using Yahoo Messenger and you're using Yahoo Messenger, why do you need to send a message from another service?

I would wager she's simply having technical difficulties and some basic troubleshooting like the following would resolve the issue:

Please advise her to try those steps and report any further issues to us if that doesn't resolve the issue.
