How do I get rid of my facebook profile pic that's suddenly appeared on every email I send please?
I have suddenly noticed today that when I look at my sent emails there is a picture of me from my facebook profile in the top left hand corner. If clicked on it takes you to my facebook page. I just need to know how to deactivate this. I never set it up and some people I email (say from work) I don't want seeing my picture. Is this a new feature and can someone please tell me how to break the link from the picture being shown on my yahoo email address. Thanks for any help
I use yahoo mail. So it only shows my picture to myself and anybody I am friends with? And vica versa. Is that what you are saying? Thanks

The people that receive email from you aren't seeing your picture. That's just your email program showing it to you. It probably is doing something similar for any incoming messages where it can match up the sender's address to a picture in your address book or on Facebook. What email program do you use?

EDIT: Yeah, Yahoo and Facebook are partners. You can let Yahoo import contacts from your Facebook account. It'll get their names, email addresses and profile pics and add them to your Yahoo address book. Then, when you get an email message from one of them, you'll see their Facebook profile pic on the message.

If your Facebook friends do the same thing in their Yahoo email (or another email program that partners with Facebook), then they will see your Facebook pic on messages that you send to them. People that are not your Facebook friends shouldn't see your pic on email messages.

Don is wrong - I was alerted to this by someone who received an email from me and my FB profie pic WAS attached to it!!!

I'm alarmed about this and trying to figure out how to make it stop. It's not just on my machine - it's being sent out on emails!
